PROPERTIES OF THE PRODUCT
The workshop crane crossbeam permits to suspend loads from a workshop crane. Thanks to an ample range of adjustments, the crossbeam
is very versatile. A correct, reliable and safe operation of the device depends on proper operation, and therefore:
Before you proceed to operate the tool, get acquainted with the whole manual and keep it.
The supplier shall not be held responsible for any damage and injuries caused due to using the tool for purposes it has not been designed
for, failure to observe safety recommendations and the recommendations indicated within this manual. Using the device for tasks which do
not comply with the purpose it has been designed for shall also cancel the guarantee rights the user is entitled to.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
The crossbeam is a device, which operates under great loads. During work it is required to observe basic safety recommenda-
tions.
Before you proceed to operate the tool, get acquainted with the whole manual and keep it.
Do not ever exceed the maximum load of the crossbeam.
It is prohibited to hang people or animals.
The crossbeam may only be used to hang loads from the workshop crane and it is prohibited to use it for any other purpose.
Before work may commence after a hanged load, it is required to use additional safety devices (e.g. racks) to support the lifted object. It is
prohibited to carry out any action whatsoever under the lifted load.
Do not lift the lifted load unattended. Do not permit children or persons who have not been trained in operation of the device to approach
the storage area of the crossbeam.
Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery. Pin up long hair. Wear individual means of protection.
The crossbeam must be adjusted to minimise the risk of swinging of the lifted load. Swinging of the load may cause displacement of the
workshop crane or even its overturning. This might lead to serious injuries or even death.
Before lifting any load, make sure the crossbeam is not damaged or incomplete. If it requires repairs, have them carried out in a specialist
workshop.
Be prudent, do not work when tired or while under influence of medicines.
Do not modify any elements of the device.
The product must be repaired in authorised workshops, using solely original spare parts. This will guarantee the required safety level.
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
The load must be fixed by screwing it to the holes in the lugs of the crossbeam. While lifting certain loads, e.g. vehicle motors, the lugs of the
workshop crane must be fixed only in the provided places, since otherwise the load might get damaged, which in turn might cause serious
injuries or death.
The bolts to fix the lugs to the load are not provided with the device. Select them according to their strength and the weight of the load.
Always attach all the load carrying chains, since only in this manner the maximum load of the cross-beam will be ensured.
While attaching the load, make sure the chains are not tangled with each other.
Ascertain preliminarily the centre pf gravity of the hanged load and adjust the crossbeam with the bolt and the attachment point of the chain
so that the load-carrying beam is always in the horizontal position. Having lifted the load to the minimum height, correct the settings using the
alignment bolt. If the adjustment range of the bolt does not permit to place the load-carrying beam in the horizontal position, the load must be
lowered and then the point of attachment of the chain changed. Repeat the lifting operation and the adjustments.
Once work has been concluded, disconnect the crossbeam from the workshop crane and inspect it for any damage.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
The device does not require any specialist maintenance actions. Each time you have concluded work and if necessary before work com-
mences clean the device with a soft cloth. The thread of the bolt must be maintained clean. If any dirt gets into the thread groves, they must
be cleaned with a soft brush before work may commence.
The device must be stored in a dry, closed and well-ventilated place.
