Dynamic Brake Resistor Connector Wiring Procedure

Required Items
1.
Remove the dynamic brake resistor connector from the SERVOPACK. Press and hold
the lock with your finger, then pull out the connector.
2.
Remove the sheath from the wire to connect.
3.
Open the wire insertion hole on the terminal connector with the tool. There are the fol-
lowing two ways to open the insertion hole. Use either method.
4.
Insert the conductor into the wire insertion hole. Then, remove the Spring Opener or flat-
blade screwdriver.
5.
Make all other connections in the same way.
6.
When you have completed wiring, attach the connectors to the SERVOPACK.

Spring Opener
This is provided with the SERVOPACK. (It is attached to the dynamic brake resis-
tor connector.) The Spring Opener that is provided with the main circuit connec-
tor cannot be used.)
(You can also use a model J-FAT-OT Spring Opener from J.S.T. Mfg. Co., Ltd.)

Flat-blade screwdriver
Commercially available screwdriver with tip width of 3.0 mm to 3.5 mm

Press the Spring Opener in the direction of the
arrow to open the connector.
Firmly insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the
screwdriver insertion hole to open the wire inser-
tion hole.
