Chapter 12 Editing the Background
12-8 Arrange
This section describes the functions that are used for adjusting the size
and position of the shapes in the screen.
Arrange functions
The items set with this function are shown below.
Setting item
Contents
Bring to front
Moves the shape in back to the front.
Send to back
Moves the shape in front to the back.
Rotate
Rotates the shape 90 degrees counterclockwise.
Turn over
Turns over the shape vertically/horizontally .
Group
Associates multiple shapes into a single group.
Ungroup
Releases grouped objects.
Change poly’s shape Changes nodes of polygon/lines shapes as well as Bezier
curves (connects smooth curves with nodes).
Adjust the angle of
arc
Adjusts the center angle of fan/arc shapes.
Align
Aligns the positions of multiple shapes.
Procedure
Bring to front/Send to back
1. Select a shape.
2. Select [Bring to front] or [Send to back] from the [Arrange] menu.

The same operation can be performed by selecting [Bring to front] or [Send to
back] from the pop-up menu displayed when right-clicking the selected
shape.

All the shapes in the Background Editor are placed in order according to the
virtual depth of the display screen. When two shapes are overlapping each
other, the top shape hides the overlapping section of the lower shape.
However, the order of the shapes can be changed by using the [Bring to
front]/[Send to back] functions.
When multiple shapes are overlapping each other, their order can be
changed using the [Move to Front]/[Move to Back] function.
