Avery Inst 4 - Frame Assembly
A:
Move your Post Assemblies to the final location. Make sure the ground is flat and level before continuing
assembly.
B:
With one person at each Post stand two complete Post Assemblies. A third person places one Side Beam
Assembly against the outside of each Post, flush to the tops and outside corners. Notice bolt hole orientation
on the assemblies. A fourth person attaches Beam to Post with one 3/8 x 8-1/2” Hex Bolt (with two 3/8” large
washers and one 3/8” lock nut) in the top hole, per Post. The distance from the outside of one Post to the outside
of the second Post should be 9’ 6-1/2” (2.91 m). (F5.1, F5.2 and F5.3)
C:
Place one Gable Beam Assembly against two Post Assemblies so the (832) Gable Inside faces the inside and
is flush to the top and outside corner of Side Beam Assembly, then attach with one 3/8 x 7-1/4” Hex Bolt (with two
3/8” large washers and one 3/8” lock nut) in the bottom hole, per Post. The distance from the outside of one Post
to the outside of the second Post should be 9’ 1” (2.77 m). (F5.1 and F5.2) See F5.3 for accurate positioning of
Posts.
