OPERATION

NOTE:

To stop the engine in an emergency, activate

the chain brake and push the engine switch down to
the OFF position

OIL PUMP

Your chainsaw is equipped with an automatic oiler system. The oiler automatically
delivers the proper amount of oil to the bar and chain. As the engine speed increases,
so does the oil flow to the bar. The oil tank should be checked and topped up each
time the fuel tank is refilled.

•

Check the operation of the oil pump by
running the saw at a medium speed. There
should be visible spatters of oil coming from
the tip of the saw about 30 seconds after
starting the saw.

•

If the saw chain does not get sufficient oil supply,
use the flat blade screwdriver to adjust the oil supply
screw at the bottom of chainsaw. Follow the mark-
ings on the case to increase or decrease the flow.
