The owner of the boat is responsible for ensuring that there is at least one bailer or bucket
on the boat and that it has been secured.
WARNING!
The bilge pump system is not intended to cope with a leak caused
by running a round or other equivalent damage (hull damage).
SAFETY MEASURE!
Regularly check to ensure that there is no debris at the end of the
suction hose of the hand-operated bilge pump. The end of the
bilge pump hose is located at the aft end of the bilge. You can
check the hose via the aft storage compartment.
WARNING!
Always keep the drainpipe shut when its inboard end is constantly
below the waterline due to loading. The shut-off flap on the
transom only prevents water from entering the boat when
reversing!
