recommended load
. Always load the craft carefully and distribute
loads appropriately (roughly an even keel). Heavy equipment
should usually to be placed in the storage compartment under the
aft seat. If the maximum numbers of passengers are on-board you
should place the heavy equipment in the cabin to ensure that the
craft does not become tail-heavy. Always avoid placing heavy
weights high up.

Engine and propeller
The maximum recommended engine power for the Yamarin 80 DC is 350 hp (258 kW). The
construction of the boat is not designed to bear more power than 350 hp. The maneuverability
of the boat can be very dangerous if the boat has bigger engine than 350 hp. The warranty is
not valid if boat is used with more power than 350 hp. Follow the dealer’s instructions when
choosing the propeller for your craft.
NOTE!
Avoid turning the engine when the hatch of the engine well
is resting on the engine housing. The warranty does not cover any
damage to the engine housing caused by the hatch of the engine.

Prevention of water incursion and stability
5.6.1
Hull and deck thru fittings and closing valves
The Yamarin 80 DC has a rainwater draining system, which means that rainwater is drained
from the undecked part of the boat when the boat is on the water. The system also functions
when the boat is out of water, provided that the bow is higher than the stern. The closing
valve (number 2 in the next picture) is located under the back seat. This drain valve is meant
to be shut at maximum load to prevent potential water incursion.
In other loading conditions
the drain valve should remain open.
