How to remove the battery for disposal
The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is disposed of.
Be sure to turn off the power and disconnect the adapter before removing the batteries.
Use a screwdriver to remove the battery, being careful not to injure yourself.
When removing the battery, be careful not to damage it with a hard object.* Failure to comply may cause the generation of heat or a fire.
Follow your local government rules for proper disposal or recycling of removed battery.
The lithium-ion battery used in this product is a valuable recyclable resource.
Refer to figures 1 to 4 below to remove the battery.

Pay attention not to damage the battery
Remove the outer cover using a
flat-tipped object like a flatheaded
screwdriver.
Remove the four screws on the lower case,
separate the upper case from the lower case and
disconnect the cable from the connector.
Unscrew the 3 screws on the lower housing
and remove the battery compartment.
Remove the battery using a flat object
like a plastic ruler.
