• Pilot jet “1”
•
Main jet “2”
6. Install:
• Needle valve “1”
•
Float “2”
• Float pin “3”
TIP
•
After installing the needle valve to the float, in-
stall them to the carburetor.
•
Check the float for smooth movement.
7. Install:
• Float chamber “1”
•
Plate “2”
• Screw (float chamber) “3”
8. Install:
•
Air vent hose [L = 580 mm (22.8 in)] “1”
• Air vent hose [L = 400 mm (15.7 in)] “2”
•
Overflow hose [L = 280 mm (11.0 in)] “3”
• Clamp “4”
Refer to “CABLE ROUTING DIAGRAM” on
page 2-15.
TIP
Install the air vent hoses and overflow hose to
the carburetor with their ends not having the cuts
“a” toward the carburetor.
9. Install:
• Jet needle “1”
•
Collar “2”
• Spring “3”
•
Jet needle holder “4”
(to the throttle valve “5”)
TIP
Install the spring with its smaller dia. “a” facing
the collar.
10.Install:
•
Throttle cable “1”
• Locknut “2”
•
Mixing chamber top “3”
• Spring (throttle valve) “4”
•
Ring “5”
• Throttle valve “6”
TIP
•
While compressing the spring, connect the
throttle cable.
• Align the projection “a” on the ring with the
groove “b” in the jet needle holder “7”.

4.0 N·m (0.40 kgf·m, 3.0 lb·ft)
