BLEEDING THE AUTOLUBE PUMP

NOTE:
The Autolube pump and delivery lines must be
bled on the following occasions.
• Setting up a new scooter out of the crate.
• Whenever the oil tank has run dry.
• Whenever any portion of the engine oil sys-

tem is disconnected.

1. Remove:

• center cover
• side cover (right)
• footrest board

Refer to “SIDE COVERS AND FOOTREST
BOARD”.

• air shroud

Refer to “GENERATOR” in chapter 5.

2. Check:

• oil level

Refer to “CHECKING THE ENGINE OIL
LEVEL”.

3. Fill:

• oil tank 

1

• oil tank filler cap 

2

Recommended oil

Yamalube 2-cycle oil or 2-stroke
engine oil

4. Bleed:

• pump case and/or oil hose

a. Remove the bleed screw

b. Keep the oil running out until air bubbles
