[Hi-Z] switches (channel 2-3)
This switch is used when connecting a device
directly to the mixer without a DI (direct box)—for
example, instruments with passive pickups, such as
an acoustic-electric guitar or electric bass without a
battery. This function is effective only for the phone
jack input.
9
[BLUETOOTH PAIRING] switch/LED
This switch turns the Bluetooth audio connection on
or off. It is also used to pair (register) a Bluetooth
device (page 15).
The LED indicates the following status:
NOTE
The STAGEPAS 1K enables you to pair (register) up to
eight Bluetooth devices. Once the ninth Bluetooth device
has been paired successfully, the pairing information for the
Bluetooth device that was connected earliest will be
deleted.

[BLUETOOTH/CONTROL MODE] switch/LED
This switch determines whether or not you can
control the unit from STAGEPAS Editor.
The LED indicates the following status:
A
[MONO/ST MODE] switch/LED
Enables you to select whether the audio output from
the speaker is monaural (MONO) or stereo
(STEREO). Pressing this switch repeatedly will toggle
between MONO and STEREO. If STEREO is
selected, the L-channel signal of the stereo input will
be output from this unit, while the R-channel signal
will be output via the [LINK] output jack to the other
STAGEPAS 1K.
The LED will light orange if STEREO is selected.
B
[LINE] input jack
Supports stereo-mini plugs. Connect an audio
device here. A signal from the Bluetooth device is
always mixed to the ST IN channel.
C
[MONITOR] control
Determines the signal level output from the
[MONITOR] output jack (
M
). The [MASTER LEVEL]
control does not affect this signal.
D
[REVERB] switch/ LED
When this switch is on, the LED lights up, indicating
that you can apply reverb (reverberation/echo).
E
[REVERB TYPE/TIME] control
Determines reverb type and length. Turning the
control clockwise lengthens the time of the selected
reverb type.
HALL:
Simulated reverb of a large space, such as a
concert hall.
PLATE:
Simulated steel plate reverb, producing a
harder-edged and brighter sound.
ROOM:
Simulated acoustic ambience of a small
room.
ECHO:
Echo effect suitable for vocals.
F
[MODE] control
Use this control to adjust the overall sound pressure
and frequency balance. The center position (MUSIC)
is a basic setting. If you turn the control
counterclockwise (SPEECH), it will cut unneeded
low-range frequencies, and create an optimum
setting for speech, or singing and playing an
acoustic musical instrument. If you turn the control
clockwise (CLUB), it will create an optimum setting
for playback of sound sources, since the high and
low ranges are boosted.
G
[MASTER LEVEL] control
Determines the volume level of the signal output
from the speaker and the level of the signal routed to
the [LINK] output jack simultaneously. This allows
you to adjust the overall volume without changing
the relative volume balance among the various
channels. The [LIMIT] LED lights when the limiter is
applied.
