Sound Edge Application Software
6
Copy button:
Copies the selected area to the clipboard, but does not affect the selected area in the
window.
7
Paste button:
Pastes the contents of the clipboard into the specified position. The waveform area following
the specified position is moved to the right to accommodate the new data.
8
Reverse button:
Reverses the selected area. The beginning and end of the selected waveform area are
reversed.
9
Inverse button:
Inverts the selected area. The top and bottom of the selected waveform area are inverted.
10
Normalize button:
Normalizes the selected area (by maximizing the peak value; the rest will be scaled
automatically by the same factor). This allows non-distorted correction of data that was
recorded at an extremely low level.
11
One Play button:
Adds silent data to the end of the sampling data. This cancels the loop playbacks so that
you can execute a single playback.
12
Zoom In button:
Magnifies the display of the selected area.
13
Zoom Out button:
Returns the display to the size before the zoom in.
14
Unzoom button:
Displays the entire waveform.
15
Stop button:
Stops playback of the active wave data.
16
Start button:
Plays back the active wave data.
17
OPL4 Driver button:
Opens the OPL4 Drive Panel window. For details on the OPL4 Drive Panel, see pages 14
and 42.

Displays the sampling rate in Hertz for the wave data being edited.
6
Displays the size in Bytes for the wave data being edited.
