Connections
CAUTION
Before connecting the instrument to other electronic components, turn off the power to all the components. Before turning
the power on or off to all components, set all volume levels to minimum (0). Otherwise, electrical shock or damage to the
components may result.
Terminals

USB [TO HOST] terminal
By connecting a computer to this terminal, you can transfer Song data between
the instrument and the computer via MIDI, and take advantage of sophisticated
computer music software. For details, refer to the “Computer-related Operations”
document.

MIDI IN / OUT terminal
These terminals allow you to connect this instrument to another MIDI instrument.
For details, refer to “About MIDI” on page 29.

AUX IN [L/L+R] [R] jack
By connecting the stereo cables to these jacks, the sound of another audio equip-
ment can be reproduced via the speakers of this instrument.
CAUTION
When the AUX IN jacks are connected to an external device, first turn on the power to the
external device, then to the instrument. Reverse this order when you turn the power off.
