and operate the other engine at low speed.

If the boat is operated with one engine in
the water but not running, water may run
into the exhaust pipe due to wave action,
causing engine trouble.
TIP:
When you are maneuvering at low speed,
such as near a dock, it is recommended that
both engines be running with one in neutral
gear if possible.

Replacing fuse

Substituting an incorrect fuse or a piece
of wire could allow excessive current
flow. This could cause electric system
damage and a fire hazard.
If a fuse has blown, replace the fuse accord-
ing to the following procedure.
1. Turn the main switch to the “
” (off)
position.
2. Remove the fuse box cover.
3. When replacing the main fuse or isolater
fuse, remove the screws, and then re-
move the fuse. Install the spare fuse,
and then tighten the screws.
4. When replacing a fuse other than the
main fuse or isolater fuse, remove the
