Signal System Conversion

(for China and General models only)
This unit is designed for use with the NTSC and PAL televison
formats. You have already selected the format your TV
monitor employs with the MODE SELECT (PAL/NTSC) switch
on the rear panel.
However, if you prefer, you can change the setting so that this
unit outputs video signals in the same format with the disc
being played back.

When the SET UP group “Display Settings” is
selected, press

to select “6 Signal System
Conversion”, and then press SELECT.

to select the preferred format, and
then press SELECT.
1 Switch Generally select this.
Video signals are output from this unit in the
format selected with the MODE SELECT
(PAL/NTSC) switch on the rear of this unit.

2 Disc
Select this if your TV monitor employs both
PAL and NTSC formats.
* This unit outputs signals in the same
format with the disc currently played back.
