Initial settings (on the SET UP menu)

Turn on this unit and the TV monitor, and load discs.

Press SET UP when this unit is stopped.
* The SET UP menu appears on the monitor screen.

Press

to select the preferred SET UP
group.

to select the preferred item, and then
press SELECT.
* The display on the monitor screen changes to the mode
for setting change.
* The current selection is indicated by “

” at the head.

Press

to change the selection, and then
press SELECT.
* Some items require additional steps. (See the
respective pages.)

When the setting change is finished, press RETURN

) once or more to return to the previous
display.

Repeat steps 3 to 6 for other items.
To return to the previous display
Press RETURN or .
To clear the SET UP menu
Press SET UP.
To restore the factory default settings for all items
While holding CANCEL on the remote controller
pressed, press and hold
on the front panel for more
than 5 seconds.
For your reference:
The numeric buttons can also be used for a setting change
instead of
or
. In this case, pressing SELECT is not
necessary.
Note
If the SET UP menu is displayed during playback, you may not
be able to change settings on some items. To change them,
stop this unit.
