Display Mode
If “Normal 4:3” is selected on the item “1 TV Type”, select the
display mode (Letter box or Pan & Scan) for a video source of
wide screen type.

When the SET UP group “DVD Settings” is selected,
press

to select “2 Display Mode” and then
press SELECT.

to select the preferred mode (1 or 2),
and then press SELECT.
1 Letter Box
A video source is played back in the
letter box style. (Black bands appear
at the top and bottom of the screen.)
2 Pan Scan
A video source formatted in the Pan
& Scan style is played back in that
style. (The left and right edges are cut
off.)
* A video source not formatted in the
Pan & Scan style will be played back
in the letter box style.
Factory default setting: Letter Box
