Replace faulty parts according
to the error message or replace
the P.C.B. where an error has
occurred.

1) There is an error in IC7 or 13
of CSP2 P.C.B., in the
memory IC connected to this
IC or in the periphery parts
such as the oscillator IC.
2) There is an error in IC974 of
FMT P.C.B. or in the
periphery parts connected to
this IC.
On ADP P.C.B.
1) Component input
There is an error in parts between INPUT SELECT of IC937,
938, 939 and the output buffer of IC924, 925, 926.
2) PC input
There is an error in the parts between INPUT SELECT of
IC937, 938, 939 and IC906, 907, 908, 909 through the
selector of IC945 and 8bit A/D.
3) There is an error in IC900 (APLD), IC35 of CSP2 P.C.B. or
parts related to the control line.
On CSP2 P.C.B.
1) Poor contact of the CB1 connector
2) There is an error in IC1, IC4 or its peripheral parts, or in the
IC7 input stage or its peripheral parts.
On ADP P.C.B.
1) Signal is not output properly
from IC705 or the signal
input/output terminal of
IC709 is faulty.
2: CB701 has failed.
On CSP2 P.C.B.
IC1, IC4 or peripheral part
connected to either IC is faulty,
or the input stage of IC7 or its
peripheral part has failed.
On ADP P.C.B.
1) IC900, 958, 961 or 957 has failed.
2) In the case of SOG input, IC937, 938, 939
or its peripheral part has failed.
3) In the case of H/V, CS, there is an error in
IC949, 950, 951 or in parts between IC949,
950 and IC958, 961.
4) In the case of the control system, there is an
error in IC35 of CSP2 P.C.B.or in parts
related to the control line.
On CSP2 P.C.B.
1) There is an error in IC22, 19
or 20 and its periphery parts
2) There is an error in IC35 and
its periphery parts.

<Test pattern check>
• This check determines roughly whether an error is in the IC7
(AMDP2) input stage of CSP2 P.C.B. or in the later stage by
having the test pattern displayed properly.
• The test pattern can be selected by using the PATTERN
button, PATT button on the remote controller or from the menu
items. Also, it is possible to have it displayed by inputting a
command through the PC. It is output through IC7 (AMDP2) of
CSP2 P.C.B.
On ADP P.C.B.
1) The error is located between the VIDEO input
terminal and IC706 or between IC706 signal
output and IC705.
2) IC709 has failed.
Narrow down possible faulty point by using the
self diagnosis program (dial all). Refer to "Self-
diagnosis and Error Message" for the diagnosis
command.
(1) No image appears.
Image signals are input, but images are not output properly.
Apply a signal by changing from VIDEO/S VIDEO
to INPUT A, B or D4 input.
(2) An image appears, but the color is poor.
(3) The image flashes.
(4) An image appears, but it is
unidentifiable.
Have the test pattern displayed.
Refer to "Self diagnosis and Error Message".

1) Press the PATTERN button.
2) Press the cursor button and then
the type of the necessary pattern.
