CONFIRM THE SYMPTOMS
In order to get more information or replacing parts about these models, Yamaha service desk
reqires the correct model name and serial number. (Sometimes electorical serial number and the
sensor or tone generator version.) Refer to the sticker on the bottom of the switch box under
the keybed. (Fig.16)
DIP SWITCH ON MN BOARD
Silent pianos include a 4-bit DIP-switch on the MN board. During normal use the switch bits
(SW1 to SW4) are generally all set to OFF, but during servicing or maintenance you can use
them to execute function checks as described below. Please turn power OFF before changing
the DIP-switch settings, and then turn power back ON to activate the new settings.

Use this feature if for some reason you are unable start up
