Piano Settings
Before you begin using the DCD1+PS to play
back CDs on your piano, you must make the
following settings according to your piano model.
MX80, MX95 (and equivalent)
No settings are necessary on the piano side.
MX100A, MX100B
(and equivalent)
Insert a 2DD floppy disk
formatted for the Disklavier into
the floppy disk drive on your
piano.

(w/wagon type Control Unit)

Insert a 2DD floppy disk
formatted for the Disklavier into
the floppy disk drive on your
piano.

Make the following settings on
your piano.
Refer to your piano’s owner’s manual for
details.

These settings are remembered when your
piano is turned off.
Setting Piano Type
After you finish connecting the DCD1+PS to your
piano, you must set the Piano Type switch on the
rear panel of the DCD1+PS to match your piano.
Set the switch according the piano type your
piano belongs to. (See “Host Pianos” on page 6.)
