Insert the pin into the
holes in the plates and
through the mast.
Secure the wire onto
the end of the hitch pin.
PUSH THE BASE ONTO
THE CARRIER MAST.
TIGHTEN with adjustable-end
wrenches or 9/16" wrenches.
Insert second bolt into the
adjacent hole.
Position the clear sleeve so that
the bolt can pass through.
Attach nut.
TIGHTEN with adjustable-end
wrenches or 9/16" wrenches.
WARNING:
DO NOT
OVER-TIGHTEN
THIS BOLT!
ALIGN HOLES IN MAST AND BASE.
At center hole near end: Insert bolt and washer.
Attach another washer and nut to the bolt.
Install the
carrier into the
vehicle’s hitch.
