Quick Release
Skewer Lever
Loosely install the Quick
Release Skewer and
skewer nut.
Skewer Nut
Remove the front wheel from
your bicycle and move the
Skewer Lever into the open
position. Set your bicycle’s rear
wheel in the Wheel Tray and its
fork straight down onto the
Skewer.
Make sure the front drop-outs are
completely down on the ends of
the skewer. (If you have difficulty
removing your bike forks from
the Skewer, throw open the
Skewer Lever and loosen the
Skewer Nut.)
Ear
Hex Key
Wheel Tray
Pull the SnapAround open (it will
not break) and slip it on the rear
crossbar, "ear-up". Assemble bolt
and Hex Key loosely. Slide the Wheel
Tray over the bolt head and ear.
Tighten the Hex Key.
• Fork Block may need to be
rotated to fit your bike.
• Be sure the Skewer moves
freely in the housing (ie., not
rusted).
• Insert forks straight up and
down.
• Do not use Skewer if it is bent
or does not move freely.
• Check and lubricate frequently.
