Function
: Squelch Level Setting
Available Values
: 0 ~ 8
Default Setting
: 2
Select a setting for this Menu item which just silences
the receiver when no signal is present. Use the low-
est setting which will keep the receiver quiet between
incoming transmissions.

Function
: Memory Channel Clear
To Clear a Memory channel:
1. Select the Menu Item
MCLR
.
2. Press the
CHANNEL
selector knob, then rotate
the
CHANNEL
selector knob to recall the
memory channel to be erased (“
SET
xx” will
appear on the display).
3. Press the
CHANNEL
selector knob, then turn
the
CHANNEL
selector knob one click to change
the display to “
MCLR
xx”.
4. Press and hold the
CHANNEL
selector knob for
2 seconds to exit.
Important Notice
: An “erased” channel cannot be
restored, and “
CH"OO1
” cannot be erased, as it is
used for “Priority Channel” operation.
