Repeat the previous step as necessary to complete the message (up to 16 characters).

If you make a mistake, press the [
BAND
] key to backspace the cursor; now re-enter
the correct letter/number.

] key to delete all data after the cursor that may have been previ-
ously stored erroneously.

When you have entered the message, press the [

] key momentarily to confirm
the message, then press the
PTT
switch to save the settings and exit to normal opera-
