Unscrew the side fasteners. 

2.

 

Unscrew the top fastener. 

3.

 

Remove the top protection. 

4.

 

Unscrew the bottom fastener. 

5.

 

Remove the bottom protection. 

6.

 

Open and lift the adjustment ring.

See Figure 1 or Figure 2, depending on the type of coupling.

Place a ruler on the half-couplings. 

2.

 

Measure the distances at the points shown in the figure. 

3.

 

Turn the coupling by hand a little and repeat the measurement. 

4.

 

Repeat step 3 several times: the radial alignment is correct if the distances in relation to the 

corresponding axes are the same at all points. 

5.

 

Check the distance between the half couplings with a feeler gauge. 

6.

 

Turn the coupling by hand a little and check the distance again. 

7.

 

Repeat step 6 several times: the axial alignment is correct if the distances are the same at all 

points.
