When the IFT remote panel is fitted in position and all cables are terminated (main system and remote)
the panel can be configured for use. To initiate communications to the remote panel form the unit
1. Press MAIN MENU.
2. Use Parameter UP or DOWN to reach SETUP (Scan and Isolate buttons)
3. Press
ENTER
4. Enter Access Code 931
5. Use Parameter UP or DOWN to reach REMPANEL
6. If the display shows REMPANEL 0 then press Value UP to get REMPANEL 1
7. Press
ENTER
8. Press MAIN MENU twice to revert to normal display.
Once initialized the main IFT display and the remote will be operational. If a button is pressed on the
IFT display, the remote panel will mimic. Similarly if the remote panel buttons are pressed, the IFT
display panel will mimic. The main IFT display can also be blanked off and fitted remotely in to the
remote panel wall enclosure.
5.2 IFT Mini Remote Display Unit
The Remote Display Unit (RDU) is a 35 mm x 128 mm panel which communicates with an Xtralis ICAM
detector to show from a remote location what is happening at the detector.
The RDU panels can be mounted in a 19” rack and linked together.
In Multi-Master mode, up to 16 RDU modules can be connected to 16 IFT detectors.
