-
Use the proper eyesight and hearing protection. Use safety glasses and
face or dust masks (class P2 and better). Secure a proper ventilation. The
asbestos may only be manipulated with by trained professionals due to its
carcinogenicity.
-
Wear protective gloves.
-
Fix the workpiece prior to cutting when not stabilized. Never hold the
workpiece with your hands or legs.
-
Keep all body parts in a safe distance from the cutting area. Never
touch under the cutting material.
-
When manipulating with the tool, hidden electrical wiring may get hit
resulting in damage or injury. Use appropriate detection devices to locate
such areas. Do not touch the metal parts of the tool when manipulating it.
-
Use the intact saw blades only. Blunt saw blades tend to show a low
cutting performance and may lead to unpredictable and dangerous situations.
-
Approach the tool to the material always turned on. Never start the tool
inside the cut material to prevent the recoil. Make sure the support foot is
always braced on the cut material to prevent unpredictable situations.
-
Do not force the tool since it does not increase the performance and
leads to overloading of the tool.
-
In case of clogging/jamming the saw blade, turn off immediately and try
to free the tool using a proper instrument.
-
Make sure the oscillating saw blade does not get in contact with other
objects to prevent the danger of the recoil.
-
Keep the power cord in a safe distance from the working area to
prevent from damage.
-
Wait until the tool fully stops prior to removing the saw blade from the
tool to prevent from a recoil and further injury.
-
The saw blade gets heated up rapidly when operating. Pay attention.
-
Never carry the tool when turned on. Wait until fully stopped prior to
putting aside.
-
Never stop the oscillating saw blade by pressuring from the opposite or
side direction.
7. General safety instructions
Electric safety
a)
The power cord plug shall always suit the socket. Never adjust the
socket. Do not use plug hubs. Non-adjusted plugs and appropriate
sockets reduce the risk of electric shock injury.
b)
Prevent body contact with conductive surfaces to avoid a risk of electric
shock injury.
c)
Do not expose the tool to rain or wet locations. Presence of water in
electric tool highly increases the risk of electric shock injury.
d)
Do not force the cord. Keep the cord away from heat sources, oil, sharp
edges or movable parts. Damaged cord increases a risk of electric
