2) We recommend adjusting the optimal rotation speed settings on the
material test sample. The rotation speed may be regulated when operating
but it is not recommended to do so when pressuring the tool to the operated
material.
Work type
- The sanding sheet choice, its wear, rotation speed and auxiliary grip
pressure all further influence the sanding performance and surface
conditions.
-
Start the tool and hold with both hands at the main and auxiliary grips.
-
Approach the operated material with the sanding surface facing down.
Press lightly and keep the uniform circular motion over the material surface
until the requested result is reached.
Caution
- Do not use worn out sanding sheets and do not force the tool.
- A higher working pressure does not increase the removal rate but
causes a faster wear of the sanding sheet and overloads the tool.
- This tool is designated for dry sanding and polishing only. A water
contact may lead to an electric shock injury.
- Do not use the sanding sheets used with metal for sanding other materials.
- Wait until the tool disc fully stops prior to putting aside. A rotating disc
may unintentionally get in contact with other objects which may result
in a loss of control over the tool.
Polishing
- Fix the polishing disc to the carrier disc with the velcro fastener for polishing
or replace the carrier disc for a polishing disc, such as felt, polishing sponge
etc.
- Follow the instructions of the polishing product supplier for the polish
application
- After finishing your work, gently wash the polishing disc in warm water
using a detergent solvent to reach the optimal polishing results when using
the polishing disc in the future.
Do not force the tool. Stop your work at regular intervals in a long-term
use.
