4.5.2 Replacing the main air filter
Access the main air filter in the top section of the rack by unscrewing the 8 screws around the edge
of the top and the 4 bolts in each corner of the top before lifting off the protective cover.
Untighten the two thumb screws holding the filter frame and then unscrew the two screws holding
the actual filter. Exchange the filter and reassemble in reverse order

4.6 Decommissioning
The entire BAT-80 Outdoor BESS system is modular build which makes for simple disassembly of any part.
4.6.1 Preparing the BAT-80 for decommissioning
• Discharge BAT-80 to SoC = 0%
• Make sure that the BAT-80 Outdoor BESS is electrically fully disconnected at the main switch board
• Disconnect all the black and orange Amphenol DC connectors on the front of the battery packs and
the inverters
• Disconnect BMS communication cables from battery packs
• Disconnect AC cables inside battery rack: 3P+E main grid connection and 1P+N+E (aux. connection)
• Disconnect all cables from BPU
4.6.2 Decommissioning battery packs
• Remove battery packs by unscrewing the 3 screws on the front of each pack. The module slides out
and can be sent to a decommission agent for further separation and division into fractions for re-use
or shredding for separation of valuable metals.
