If the control panel prompts you, on the screen, verify the paper size and type.

At the printer control panel, verify that the displayed paper size matches the paper in the tray.
If correct, press
OK
.

If the displayed paper size does not match the paper in the tray, navigate to the correct paper
size, then press
OK

Note:
To navigate through the menu, use the
Up
or
Down
arrow buttons.

Verify that the displayed paper type matches the paper in the tray. If correct, press

Configuring Tray Behavior
When an individual tray is set to Display Popup mode, the control panel prompts you to verify or set the
paper size and type.
The Tray Priority feature determines the order in which the printer selects the tray for a print job when
you have not specified one. Tray Priority also determines how the printer selects another tray when a
paper tray runs out in the middle of a job. Priority 1 indicates that the tray is set to the highest priority.
Tray Mode allows you to have the bypass tray mode determined at the control panel or the print driver.
To set the Display Popup mode:
1.
At the printer control panel, press the
Menu
button.

Tray Settings

Navigate to the desired paper tray, then press
