IPX Printing
IPX Printing
enables the Spire CXP8000 color server to act as a job server
for the Novell queue. A job server checks each assigned queue at a specified
interval, taking care of jobs on a first-in, first-out basis. Once a job is
processed, its associated file is deleted from the queue directory.
To set the Spire CXP8000 color server IPX parameter:
1.
In the Settings window, select
Administration
>
Network Setup
.
2.
In the
IPX Printing
area, click
Change Settings
next to the
Tree
parameter.
The Local Area Connection Properties dialog box appears, followed by
the NWLink IPX/SPX Properties dialog box.
3.
To change the frame type, select a frame type from the
Frame type
list,
then click
OK
.
4.
Click
OK
also in the Local Area Connection Properties window.
You are prompted to restart your computer.
5.
Click
No
if you need to make more changes, or
Yes
to reboot.
Note:
Using this procedure requires further setup by the network
administrator.
