IP Filtering
You can prevent unauthorized network access by creating an IP Filter to block or allow data sent from
particular IP addresses.
Note:
Be careful not to filter the IP address of any device used to administer the printer.
Enabling IP Filtering
1.

Internet Services, click
Properties
Security
.

Click
IP Filtering
.
Note:
If prompted to enter a user name and password, for information about logging in as an
administrator, refer to
Internet Services Administrator Account
.
3.
To enable IP filtering, select I
Pv4 Filtering Enabled
,
IPv6 Filtering Enabled
, or both.
4.
To permit access to the device, type the IP Address and Port or Prefix as needed.
5.
Click
Apply
.
