Self-test
Automatic self-test
The isometer will automatically run through a connection test
and a self-test every time the current source is switched on.
"TES" will be displayed on the display and all LEDs will light up.
After 6 to 12 seconds, the isometer will start up and only the
ON LED will be lit if no errors have been detected. This self-test
will, moreover, be performed every 24 hours.
Manual self-test
A test can also be performed manually. Functional and
connection errors/faults will then be checked. Press the "test"
button for 2 seconds. If you continue to press this button, all
the icons that are possible will be displayed on the display. If
an error is found, all the LEDs will start to flash and an error
code will be displayed on the display. See the "Information
displayed" section. If an error message is displayed: switch off
the current source, resolve the error and again switch on the
inverter/generator. The self-test will again be performed.
Insulation resistance
The total insulation resistance of the system will be displayed
on the display. The display will show > 1.0 MΩ as standard.
When the consumers are activated, the actual insulation
resistance can be read. The deactivation of the isometer is
adjusted to 10 kΩ as standard.
Reset after deactivation
If the set value is exceeded, the isometer will disable the
current source. If this should happen:
•
Remove the connected device if this is causing the earthing
leakage.
•
Press the Reset button for 2 seconds.
•
The isometer will reset itself and will again run through the
self-test.
