5.4 Ping Test
Click on the
Ping Test
link in the navigation bar to view the ping
test page. This can be used to check how efficiently the modem
can reach a particular IP address.
Enter
IP Address:
Enter the destination IP Address that you would like
the system to ping.
Packet size:
Enter the size in bytes of packet that you would like
to send to the above address.
Echo Requests:
Enter the number of times the transmission
information should be relayed to the server.
Test:
Click on the
Test
button to view the test log in the window
below.

5.5 Modem Test
Click on the
Modem Test
link in the navigation bar to view the
Modem Test interface. You can test connections from the WAN
side through this interface.
Connection:
Select the connection that you would like to test
from the list of connections in the table.
Test type:
Select the type of test you would like to perform from
the Test Type drop-down menu.
Test:
Click on the
Test
button to perform the test. Results will
chow at the bottom of the box.
