5 Troubleshooting
This section will help you identify the source
of most problems that can occur with the
XPower Charger 2.
If you have a problem with the charger,
please review this section before contacting
Xantrex Customer Service. If you are unable
to solve a problem and need to contact
Xantrex, please prepare for the call by
writing down the following details:

Charger’s serial number
•
How long the charger has been in use
•
A brief description of the problem
PROBLEM: Green Power light is off when
XPower Charger 2 is connected to AC
power.
PROBLEM: Green Power light is off and red
Charging light is on.
Possible cause
Solution
No AC power at outlet. Ensure power is
present at outlet.
Possible cause
Solution
Short circuit or reverse
polarity is detected at
the DC output cable.
Check cable
connections.
