APPLICATION NOTES: Adding Serial Ports to CRMWIC or WIC1200
For use with CRMWIC as in the following Application Drawing, please proceed as follows:

Serial Port Configuration:
1.
Login as stated above.
2.
Click on
Serial Port Settings
located in the left pane of the setup page
3.
Enter the desired
Baud Rate, Data Size, Parity, Flow Control and Signal Level
to be used. This should
match the unit being connected to.
4.
For use with the CRMWIC Web Intelligent Controller
a)
Select
Telnet Client
b)
Enter in the
Remote Session IP Address
(This will be the address of the CRMWIC you will be talking
to).
Serial Port Configuration:
5.
Click on IP Settings located in the left pane of the setup page
6.
Enter the Static IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway for the XTRALINK IP unit
7.
Enter a HostName if required.
Note: if using multiple IPRS232 XTRALINK IP’s make sure each unit has a unique IP address and Host Name.
8.
Click
Apply Changes
to save current settings.
Note: PC will need to change to the same Subnet Mask and Default Gateway to re-enter the Setup Page.
