Silence Mode
If you press the silence button during an alarm state, the unit will be in the silence mode for 9 minutes.
During the silence mode, the red LED will flash once every 5 seconds. The alarm will enter the normal
mode after 9 minutes.
NOTES
1.
You can silence all interconnected units by pressing the test/silence button on one of the smoke
alarms. If one unit is still alarming, it is the initiating smoke alarm (the unit that detected the
smoke); to silence all connected units, you must also press the test/silence button on the
initiating smoke alarm.
2.
While interconnected, the initiating smoke alarm cannot be triggered again during the 9-minute
silence duration. However, all other interconnected alarms can be triggered again if they detect
dangerous smoke levels during the silence mode.
