9 TRANSPORT, STORAGE, DECOMMISSIONING, DISPOSAL
9.1 Transport instructions
• Improper transport can damage the vending machine. If transporting with a pallet truck: sudden, jerky
lowering can damage the vending machine .
• Danger! Improper transport can cause the vending machine to overturn.
The following safety instructions must be followed during transport, and when loading and unloading:
• Move the vending machine with pallet truck or forklift truck only . Position the forks on the underside of
the body only .
• Remove the front plinth cover . Lower the vending machine slowly .
• Always move the vending machine with great care and caution .
• Prevent it from slipping away to the side .
• Do not move the vending machine on sloping ramps, use transport lifts instead .
• Note the centre of gravity of the vending machine . The centre of gravity is high due to the design .
Tipping hazard!
• Always lock the vending machine doors during transport so that the contents of the compartments can-
not fall out .
• If possible, transport the modules without products in the compartments
9.2 Recommended means of transport
• Forklift truck
• Pallet truck
9.3 Temporary shutdown
The vending machine can be shut down temporarily .
Procedure:
1 . Disconnect the mains plug
2 . Completely remove the products
3 . See relevant Starting up section for details of how to start up again
9.4 Decommissioning and disposal
If the vending machine has outlived its usefulness at some time in the future, it is decommissioned:
1 . Disconnect the mains plug .
2 . Disconnect the mains connection cable .
3 . If other satellite modules are connected, disconnect their CAN cables
4. Please contact the customer service to find out about proper disposal of the vending machine.
