How it works in detail:
Normal operation
l
In normal operation, the main controller carries out the regular
controller functions.
l
The MIQ/T2020 PLUS works as a regular terminal.
l
The MIQ/T2020 PLUS saves the system configuration:
– Automatic saving processes take place 60 minutes after
initialization and then regularly every 60 min.
– Additionally to automatic saving, the saving can also be started
manually at any time (see section 4.3.2). When doing so the timer
for automatic saving is reset.
– Automatic saving only takes place in the measuring mode
(normal measured value display). If the MIQ/T2020 PLUS is in a
different mode, the next saving process takes place as soon as it
is switched to the measuring mode.
– If a saving process fails, e.g. because another terminal is in the
setting or calibration mode, a new saving process is started after
30 s. After three failed trials the next automatic saving process
takes place after 60 min.
– A message appears on the display during the saving process. If
required, the running saving process can be canceled with the

key.
l
The MIQ/T2020 PLUS continuously receives information on the
status of the main controller.
Event: Failure of the
main controller

If the MIQ/T2020 PLUS does not receive a valid telegram from the
main controller for a period of 2 minutes it takes over the controller
operation. The MIQ/T2020 PLUS is reinitialized.
l
A log book message is generated when the controller operation is
taken over.
l
During the MIQ/T2020 PLUS controller operation
– an "A" (=active) appears behind the instrument designation in the
top left corner of the display.

Only the date and time can be changed. All other settings are
locked (

– neither sensors nor input or output modules can be added.
– no data logger is available. Accordingly, the data transmission
function cannot be carried out.
