TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
The following table lists some of the possible failure modes of the AV-300/350 receiver, and
recommends some possible causes and solutions. If the issue cannot be resolved with these
recommendations, contact WSI Support.
Table 5-6-A: Failure and Warning Conditions and Possible Solutions
Problem
Possible Causes and Solutions
Broadcast receiver antenna is
disconnected
AV-300/350 satellite antenna is damaged, coax cable or
connectors are not installed properly, or antenna disconnected
•
Check connection to the AV-300/350 receiver.
•
Check connection between AV-300/350 receiver and
antenna.
•
Check connection to the antenna.
•
Check RF connectors on antenna cable.
•
Check for >3VDC on AV-300/350 satellite antenna
connector.
Broadcast receiver not
communicating
Display improperly configured, RS-232 wiring issue, AV-
300/350 not powered
•
Refer to MFD installation manual for proper Broadcast
configuration and wiring interconnect diagrams.
•
Refer to AV-300/350 Receiver Installation Manual for
power wiring.
Broadcast data not received
No data products have been received, but unit is otherwise
operating properly.
•
Check User’s account with Sirius.
•
Check radio authorization with WSI Customer Support
