Any other installed electronic instruments or equipment intended to assist with the operation or
navigation of the aircraft should also be checked.
Any unacceptable interference must be addressed prior to delivery to the customer.
Interference Check – AV-300/350 and Remote Control as Victim
While monitoring the operation of the AV-300/350 receiver and remote control, operate other
electronic equipment installed in the aircraft to determine whether any other equipment interferes
with the normal operation of the AV-300/350 receiver or remote control. The following
equipment (if installed) should be checked:
1.
Communications radios (frequencies from 118.00 MHz through 136.975 MHz).
2.
Navigation radios.
3.
GPS and/or LORAN.
4.
TAS/TCAS
5.
Audio panel and marker beacons.
6.
Attitude Indicator (unless air driven)
7.
Autopilot.
8.
Lightning detection equipment.
9.
Transponder.
10.
DME
11.
Electronic displays.
12.
Engine monitoring.
13.
Strobe lights.
Any other installed electronic instruments or equipment intended to assist with the operation or
navigation of the aircraft should also be checked.

After installation and EMI checks are complete, perform a magnetic compass “swing” in
accordance with aircraft maintenance manual and 14 CFR 23.1327 and 23.1547.
