7.2 Inserting / removing the saw blade (10)
WARNING! Before undertaking any work or maintenance
on the saw itself, remove the battery pack (6).
The blade (10) should extend past both the foot plate (9) and the
thickness of the workpiece during the cut. Select the blade (10) best
suitable for the material to be cut and use the shortest blade (10)
suitable for the thickness of the material.
WARNING! Cut hazard. Blade (10) breakage may occur if
the blade (10) does not extend past the foot plate (9) and
the workpiece during the cut. Increased risk of personal injury,
as well as damage to the foot plate (9) and workpiece may
result.
CAUTION: Remove the battery pack (6) first to prevent switch
actuation before making any adjustments or removing or
installing attachments or accessories.

——Inserting the saw blade (10)
WARNING! Wear protective gloves when assembling the
saw blade (10). Contact with the saw blade (10) can lead
to injuries. You can only use the t-shank blade (10) type as
shown in Fig C1.
This multi-purposed saw is equipped with a tool-free blade holder (11).
This makes possible easy and quick changing of the saw blade (10)
without any additional tools.
1) Place the jig saw upside down, rotate the blade holder (11) anti-
clockwise and hold in position.
2) Fully insert the blade (10) into the blade holder (11) slot with blade
(10) teeth facing forward to the front of the saw.
3) Release the blade holder (11) and it will self-rotate back to clamp the
blade (10) tightly. Push the blade (10) to ensure it is locked in position.
