Adjusting the saw shoe
• Loosen the two Allen screws (G) of the saw shoe using the Allen key included in the
delivery.
• Move the saw shoe backwards.
• Adjust the saw shoe to the left or the right in the desired sawing angle of max. 0-45°.
• You can read the set angle of the graduated scale on the saw shoe.
• Move the saw shoe forwards again until the saw shoe snaps into the indicated
marking.
• Fasten the saw shoe again with the two Allen screws (G).
Operating the switch
• The On/Off switch (3) is in the handle of the jig saw.
• The switch can be fixed with the fixing knop (2) on the side of the jig saw. Press the On/
Off switch and connect the fixing knob. The device is now in continuous operation. The
fixed position is released by pressing the On/Off switch again.
• The stroke rate can be regulated (4) of 800-3000 with the handwheel. This handwheel
is provided with numbers. The higher the number, the higher the stroke rate.
Adjusting the oscillation rate
The saw blade can carry out two movements, with or without oscillation movement. The
oscillation rate distributes the pressure over the entire sawing path through the elliptical
track and thus ensures faster sawing progress.
The device requires less advance feed and runs virtually by itself. At the same time the
oscillation rate reduces the friction factor at the saw blade and thus increases its life
expectancy.
The oscillation movement can be regulated in multiple levels.
For thin material and metal, no oscillation (stage 0) is used. Stages one to three are used
for faster sawing in wood or plastic.
