Operation
Always follow the safety instructions and observe the relevant regulations!
When switching the machine on or off, keep the machine away from the work piece.
Otherwise, the grinding disc or cut-off wheel could damage the work piece.
• Clamp down or secure the work piece in another way, so that it cannot shift in the
course of the work.
• Hold the machine securely and press it at an angle of approx.15° against the work
piece.
• Check the discs and wheels on a regular basis. Worn grinding discs or cut-off wheels
have a negative influence on the effectiveness of the machine.
• At the end of work, always first switch off the machine before pulling out the electrical
plug.
On/Off switch (2) (WB 500 WS)
The angle grinder is equipped with a safety switch to prevent accidents. To switch the
machine on, push the button (2) forward and press down on it to lock it in place. To
switch off the angle grinder, press down on the button (2). The button returns to its
original position.
On/Off switch (2) (WB 900/2200 WS)
The angle grinder is equipped with a safety button (3, 5) for the prevention of accidents.
To switch the machine on, first press the safety button (3, 5) followed by the on / off
switch (2, 4). To switch the machine off, release the on / off switch (2, 4).
Swivel handle (WB 2000 WS)
The handle (3) can be turned about 90° to the left and the right. Release the lock (2) and
turn the handle in the desired direction. After this, the lock again locks into place.
