SWITCHING THE BOILER ON/OFF

Switching on

Switch on the boiler by pressing the main power 

button. The indicator light shows 

blue

Switching off

Turn the temperature control knob to the 

snowflake symbol to switch off the central 

heating

BOILER FROST PROTECTION

If the temperature within the boiler falls below 8°C 

the pump will run to circulate water and prevent 

the system freezing. If the temperature within the boiler falls below 5°C the boiler will 

fire periodically, bringing the boiler temperature up to 12°C to avoid the possibility of the 

system freezing.

         SETTING TEMPERATURE FOR YOUR HEATING

Turn the temperature control knob to the 

desired level. This is the temperature the 

boiler will heat the radiator water to. The 

control knob should generally be set to 4 

or 5. Lower for smaller homes, higher for 

larger homes.

         SETTING TEMPERATURE FOR YOUR HOT WATER

The hot water temperature can be set to between 

approximately 40°C and 60°C using the temperature 

control. The minimum on the dial is 40° the maximum is 

60°C The optimum setting is 4 which is 53°C.
