Use the up and down buttons shown below to raise or lower the cutting head.
CAUTION!
DO NOT try to force the carriage above the 27" (68 cm)
mark or below the 1" (2.54 cm) mark. Damage to the up/down system
may result.

Blade Guide Arm Operation
1.
Look down the length of the log to see its maximum width. The outer blade guide roller should be
adjusted to clear the widest section of the log by less than 1" (25.4 mm).
2.
Use the blade guide arm handle to adjust the outer blade guide as necessary. Move the blade guide
arm handle right to move the arm out. Move the handle left to move the arm in.
