5.5 HDMI Audio Routing Tab
HDMI audio is routed separately from the video. In many cases, it is required to route
HDMI audio separately. As an example, routing the audio to additional or different
decoders.
Exception:
When in Genlock mode, the HDMI audio follows the Video when one or
more Decoders (RX) are joined with an Encoder (TX) from any of the video routing tabs
(Video, Wall,, etc.). Simply put this means that when an RX device is in Genlock, it
receives both the HDMI video and the HDMI audio.
To route HDMI audio, select the tab labeled
HDMI Audio Routing.
All the RX devices are listed on the top half of the Decoder section. Similarly, all the TX
devices are listed on the bottom half under the Encoder section.
