Troubleshooting
Faults in electrical equipment and mechanical or hydraulic components may only be
rectified by qualified contractors specially trained in these fields.
If a fault occurs that cannot be remedied by means of the measures described below,
inform the manufacturer or a service partner authorised by the manufacturer.
LED constantly green: pump running
LED flashing green: pump on standby; no DHW draw-off
LED constantly off: fault; see below
Mixer/servomotor – for operating condition, see chapter Commissioning
Possible cause
Fault remedy
Temperature in buffer
cylinder too low
Raise temperature in buffer cylinder; check position of
temperature sensors.
Charging pump is not deli-
vering any heating water
• Vent primary circuit with charging pump; see chapter
Commissioning
• Check hydraulic pressure drop between buffer cylin-
der and freshwater module and reduce if required
• Check whether all ball valves in the primary and
secondary circuit are open
• Check whether the freshwater module is correctly
connected to the drinking water and heating network
• Check the module is working correctly – for tempe-
rature and flow sensors, see chapter Commissioning
• Check signal lead (PWM) on the charging pump
• Check the power supply to the charging pump
• Check the charging pump is correctly connected to
the controller
• Replace faulty charging pump
Temperature sensor S1
(primary) faulty
Check function via service key; see chapter Commis-
sioning
Sensor VFS faulty Check function via service key; see chapter Commis-
sioning
Set temperature set too
low
Correct set value on the controller; see chapter Com-
missioning
Mixer/servomotor faulty Check function; see chapter Commissioning
Freshwater module faulty Check mains connection
Replace freshwater module
Plate heat exchanger
scaled up
Descale or replace plate heat exchanger
