Dolby Settings
The
Dolby Settings
tab is shown in Figure 4-32. There are four sections under the
Dolby Settings
tab:
Decoder Configuration
,
DD+ Configuration
,
ED2
Configuration
, and
Loudness Setup
. The settings in these sections are explained
following this figure.

Decoder Configuration
1.
Speaker Configuration
: This setting defines the output speaker
configuration in a range from 2.0 to 7.1.4. This setting is reflected in channel
descriptions of the audio level meters. Select an option from the pull down
list. Speakers that receive no content from the input source are silent.
2.
Stereo Downmix Mode
: This setting provides a choice between Auto, LtRt,
or LoRo downmix modes. Select an option from the pull down list.
3.
Dolby Atmos Decode
: This setting applies Dolby Digital Plus bitstreams and
to ED2 (ED2: Dolby E + Evolution). (If the optional Dolby Atmos license is
not contained in the iAM-12G-SDI, then this option will always be set to the
Off
position. Contact Wohler Sales to obtain this license.) Click the
Dolby
Atmos Decode
switch to
On
to enable Dolby Atmos content decoding, or set
the switch to
Off
to disable Dolby Atmos content decoding. Dolby Digital Plus
with Dolby Atmos content is then decoded as Dolby Digital Plus. When
Dolby
Atmos Decode
is set to
Off
, then on the Dolby MetaData screen the
Atmos
3D
or
Show Video
buttons do not display.
