Step 3 – Switching on the DC 17:
After
switching on the DC 17, the installed soft-
ware version is indicated, together with the
current date. Then the device performs a
protective grounding of the pressure sensor,
which is indicated by
„STAB“
and a flas-
hing
„P = 0“
icon.

. The valve of the red test line
remains closed.
Step 4:
After the stabilization cycle is
completed, the Wöhler DC 17 indicates the
current differential pressure (which is close
to zero at this stage). Open then the valve
of the red test hose and set the valve of the
test hose adapter to
„Measure“
(see fig.
3.1.4).
Step 5 – Starting the flow measurement:
Press the
„±“ key
to set the cursor on the
Hydr.-kv subprogram. Enable the function
by pressing the
„ENTER“ key
(the cursor
below
Hydr.-k
v starts to flash; see fig.
3.1.4). The cursor starts to flash and the
current flow is indicated on the display,
either in l/h or in m
3
/h for larger measuring
values.
